Pay what you can theatre night!

The Mendocino Theatre Company’s current production of playwright Rebecca Gilman's play "The Sweetest Swing in Baseball" a delightful and well cast comedy, offers a special “Pay What You Can" performance, Wednesday, November 17th at 8 p.m.

“Our aim is to make the theatre experience accessible to everyone in the community, especially for those whose budgets have tightened due to the current recession,” explained MTC board president Bob Cohen. “MTC would like to make these community evenings a regular part of our season, with the hope that those who want to experience the magic of live theatre can do so without crimping their budget.” “We especially want everyone in the visitor-serving industry to be able to enjoy our productions, and we hope that Wednesday night is a time when they can attend our show."

There will be ‘open’ seating for the Pay What You Can performance, with seats offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Call the MTC Box Office at 937-4477 for more information.
